API quickstart

Start in the Skysay workspace

Create a voice AI agent, choose a number, and manage calls and messages in one place.

Create your account

Give this to your AI assistant

Read https://skysay.ai/llms.txt and help me connect to Skysay. I want a phone number for personal or business calls. Ask which country and what I want it to do, then show suitable numbers, prices and setup steps. Use my connected Skysay tools where available. Before requesting a number, placing a call or sending a message, show me the action and cost and ask me to confirm. Never ask me to paste a password or secret into this chat.

Can I use Skysay for personal calls?

Yes. Use it for everyday tasks such as checking an order, asking about a reservation or arranging a callback. You can see which numbers support individual registration when choosing a country.

How do I connect Claude, Codex or another AI assistant?

If your AI assistant supports custom MCP connections, add the Skysay MCP endpoint using its connection settings. Where OAuth is supported, sign in in your browser and review and approve the requested permissions. Clients with API access and secure credential storage can use a scoped API key.

Can I use the API without MCP?

Yes. The REST API lets your application work with numbers, AI agents, calls, messages and results. Follow the API quickstart in our documentation.

Does Claude or Codex speak on the call?

Your connected AI assistant helps configure and operate Skysay. The configured voice AI agent handles the live conversation; connecting MCP alone does not turn your coding assistant into the voice model.

When can I start using my number?

Activation depends on the country, number type and any verification steps. You see the relevant setup information before committing, and your workspace shows when the number is ready.

Can my number receive calls and SMS?

Capabilities vary by number type and country. Check the incoming-call, outgoing-call and messaging options for the number you choose.

How do I control access and spending?

Review the requested permissions before approving a connection. You can revoke it from Connected apps in your workspace. Number requests, calls and messages follow Skysay's existing authorization and billing rules. Review prices before paid actions.

Is this a replacement for emergency calling?

No. Skysay is not an emergency-calling service. Use your regular phone service for emergencies.
